What should I expect on my dogs walk?
In my care, dogs are normally walked in a park or woods. The dogs will need to be on a lead unless agreed beforehand and a document would need to be signed to consent for me to have them off lead. Dogs off lead will always be equipped with my GPS tracker in order to provide that extra peace of mind. If your dog prefers company my resident dog Bailey is always available to keep your dog company on a walk if you so wish.
I will also need to know of any allergies in terms of me providing them treats. On walks you will only need to provide their exercise equipment such as a harness, lead and collar, an ID tag is a must. I will be providing poo bags, water bowl, water and treats.
Dog walking is essential for a dog’s mental and physical health
What walk durations and service areas are available?
Your dogs will be able to be walked for either 30 minutes, 1 hour or 2 hours. Depending on your dogs needs. Depending on availability you could combine a dog walk and a drop in if wanting your dog to have that little extra time and care.
Your dog will always be dried with a towel and a quick freshen up after a walk to make sure you do not come home to muddy paws! After each walk you will receive a detailed report with some photos letting you know how the walk went and it will give you the chance to see all the fun your dog got up to.
Selsdon, South Croydon, Sanderstead, East Croydon, and Lower Addiscombe, depending on distance I may be able to cover outside this area so please send me an enquiry.
What are dog training walks?
For new clients this will include a meetup and a free consultation where we discuss your needs. Training dog walks is a great way for your dog to improve their skills such as loose lead, recall or socialisation. It’s entirely up to you what you would like me to work on. The training walks will be 1 to 1 where we will focus on the skill you want your dog to learn as well as as providing exercise. My training walks are based on positive reinforcement only. The time indicated is including drop off and pick up. All training walks are one to one so that your dog will have my full attention.
By booking a block of minimum of 4 walks this will give you a discount of 15% and allow you to join your dog for a training walk once a month if you so wish to see the progress and it will give me the chance to show you the technique we have been working on. If you are unable to join a walk due to work commitments I can set up a call or a meet in person where I will explain to you what we have been working on. After each walk you will receive a report with photos and letting you know how the walk went and the progress your dog is making. If there is another skill you would like your dog to work on please do not hesitate to send me an enquiry and I will see what I can do.

What happens if its too hot for my dog to have a walk?
In extreme heat, dogs will be offered a walk earlier in the morning when its cooler or have the option of a toilet break and a drop in visit where they could have some mental stimulation indoors such as some playtime and an enrichment activity.
Can you feed my dog before or after the walk?
Dogs should not be fed just before or after exercise due to the risk of developing bloat which is a life - threatening emergency where the stomach fills with gas and twists, cutting of blood supply. I would recommend your dog is not fed too close to a walk. Experts recommend at least 1 or 2 hours between eating and exercising your dog.

Cancellations for walks need to be at least 24 hours in advance and 48 hours for drop ins, full amount will be collected if cancelling outside of this time.
