Terms & Conditions

Siris Dog Services Responsibilities

 

  • Siris Dog Services is committed to providing the services detailed in this agreement in a reliable and trustworthy manner.

  • Siris Dog Services commits to immediately informing the client should their dog be exposed to any infectious or contagious disease. This includes, but is not limited to, conditions such as Distemper, Hepatitis, Kennel Cough (Bordetella), Parvovirus, Coronavirus, worms, Lyme disease, Fleas, Infectious Skin Diseases, and Intestinal Parasites. Until Siris Dog Services is certain the dog's condition has been resolved, it retains the right to refuse service.

  • Siris Dog Services is not responsible for any damage, now or in the future, caused by the client's pets or any person with access to the client's property, to the client's property or the property of others, during the period the pets are in Siris Dog Services' care.

  • Siris Dog Services is committed to providing loving care for your dog in your absence.

Client Responsibilities

 

“I” refer to the client 

 

  • Each dog will need to be up to date with vaccinations, and worm and flea treatments. 

  • I agree that my dog will not be able to be walked whilst in season or whilst pregnant, Siri’s Dog Services reserves to refuse walks if this is the case. 

  • I agree to either provide keys to or arrange for key access for Siri's Dog Services for the scheduled dog walking or dog visit

  • I assume full responsibility for any injury or damage inflicted by my dog while in the care of Siris Dog Services. I also agree to hold Siris Dog Services harmless and indemnify them against any liability resulting from such injury or damage to any other party

  • I grant Siris Dog Services permission to seek emergency veterinary care for my dog if necessary while my dog is in their care. Siris Dog Services will try to contact me before obtaining emergency treatment. I agree to be responsible for all charges associated with this emergency care. I also authorize Siris Dog Services to use a veterinary clinic other than my regular one, should the need arise.

  • I agree to reimburse Siris Dog Services for all additional expenses, including, but not limited to, fees for emergency veterinary care, as well as costs related to unexpected visits, transportation, parking, housing, food, or supplies.

  • Siris Dog Services charges:

    • Key drop-offs: £8 (applies to drop-offs outside of the initial meet and greet).

    • Excessive waiting time(over 10 minutes): £8 (applies to dog walking pick-ups and drop-offs).

    • I agree to these additional service charges.

  • Siris Dog Services provides group woodland and local park walks, where dogs will mingle. I acknowledge the risk that my dog may sustain injuries during regular dog play, though all play is closely supervised to minimize this risk.

  • I acknowledge that Siris Dog Services will strive to provide care for my dog equivalent to my own. Despite all efforts to ensure the well-being of my pet during my absence, Siris Dog Services is not liable for any loss, injury, or death that may occur to the pet while in their care, both inside and outside the home.

  • I understand and accept the risk that my dog may still contract Kennel Cough (Bordetella) despite being vaccinated. Consequently, I agree not to hold Siris Dog Services liable should my dog contract Kennel Cough while participating in their services.

  • Dogs brought for exercise must have up-to-date vaccinations and be on a consistent flea and worm prevention schedule. The owner agrees to take all required steps to keep their dog free from any contagious, infectious, or otherwise communicable diseases.

  • I agree to immediately notify Siris Dog Services if my dog has been exposed to or is suffering from any infectious or contagious diseases or conditions. These include, but are not limited to, Distemper, Hepatitis, Kennel Cough (Bordetella), Parvovirus, worms, Lyme disease, Fleas, Pregnancy, Infectious Skin Diseases, and Intestinal Parasites. Siris Dog Services retains the right to refuse service to the dog until the condition is confirmed to be resolved.

  • I understand that Siri’s dog services will look after my dog as if it were her own, however Siri’s Dog Services can not be held liable, for any loss, injury or death to my pet either inside or outside of the home whilst in their care. 

  • By signing the terms and conditions, I agree to fully indemnify Siris Dog Services against any present or future liability for loss or damage to my property or its contents.

 

BOOKINGS 

 

“I” refer to the client 

 

  • New clients need a meet and greet before booking 

  • I agree to inform Siri's Dog Services of any issues or concerns within 24 hours of the completion of any booking.

  • Bookings will be confirmed latest by 24 hours for existing clients 

  • Bookings can be made by website, phone or email. 

  • I agree that bookings have leeway due to traffic etc and bookings are estimated with a 15 minutes leeway before and after the booking. 

WEATHER

  • Dogs will not be walked in excessive heat over 25 degrees, alternatives will be offered such as a walk when its cooler or a Dog visit. Walks will always be done in shade/woods in the summer where it's shaded. 

  • In extreme weather such as heavy rain/thunderstorms or extreme heat walks will be cut short if needed for the safety of the walker and the dogs. In this case the owner will receive credit to use for another walk. 

 

CANCELLATIONS 

 

“I” refer to the client 

 

  • Cancellations needs to be made at least 48 hours before the booking for any service, otherwise the booking will be non refundable.

  • I agree to cancel my booking if my dog exhibits any signs of illness, such as coughing, a runny nose, vomiting, or stomach issues, to prevent contact with other dogs.

 

TERMINATION OF CONTRACT 

  • How much notice is agreed to terminate contract?

    • Termination of contract by the client, 30 days

    • Siri's Dog Services reserves the right to terminate this agreement at any time, at its sole discretion. 

 

PAYMENT 

  • For regular clients payment is done by bank transfer for the full month of services in advance. Payments are due by end of month for the next month. 

  • For Ad Hoc Services payment is due at time of booking, minimum 24 hours before the services start. 

 

LOSS OR DAMAGE 

  • Dog’s own leads/harnesses/collars used at owner’s risk

 

IMAGES 

 

“I” refer to the client 

 

  • I agree to photos/videos of their dogs used for social media or advertising

  • Any photos/videos used remain the property of Siris Dog Services

  • The images will only be used for the purpose of promoting the business and not be shared with any third party 

 

General: 

 

Dogs will only be off leash if a off leash form has been signed by the owner and Siris Dog Services have tested the dogs recall to make sure it’s safe to do so.

 

  • If wanted Siris Dog Services can keep the dog on a lead or a long line 

  • Dogs will have a GPS tracker if off lead as a precaution and safety measure.

 

Checklist for Dog Walks and Visits

 

  • Please ensure that your dogs harness, collar, lead and ID tag is left out. 

  • Along with water bowl, bed and toys ready for their return. 

  • Please make sure anything else they may need is left out such as medication etc 

  • If the dog is being walked whilst you are away at work or for a day out you may want to have a next of kin such as a neighbour or a friend that lives nearby should any emergency occur.
